Talented cake maker Ashleigh Parry has today realised her dream and opened her own shop.
The Cake House in Fogg Street, Newcastle, opened its doors at 10am and business was booming as customers came to buy her range of delicious cakes.

As time went by, the girlfriend became my wife, and those good friends and cold beverages were plopped in front of a sporting event on TV (there were a lot less injuries that way).
Now, my wife and I enjoy spending weekends avoiding the TV, opting instead to wander Indiana, and hoping to run into some of those good friends. Along the way we tend to find a few festivals and flea markets. And once there, I always try to find the booths that have books.

The Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan is acquiring a 40 per cent stake in Caruna, Finland’s largest electricity supplier.
The pension will acquire a 20 per cent stake in the utility from First Sentier Investors and in a separate transaction, the Ontario Teachers’ and investment firm KKR & Co. Inc. will jointly acquire a 40 per cent holding from the Ontario Municipal Employees Retirement System. Upon closing, the Ontario Teachers’ and KKR will each own 40 per cent of Caruna, according to a press release.

Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan Board, KKR and Swedish pension fund AMF Pension have become new shareholders in Finland’s largest electricity company, alongside Finnish pension insurance company Elo.
Ontario Teachers and KKR have each bought a 20% stake in Caruna from First Sentier Investors and AMF has bought Keva’s 12.5% stake in the electricity distributor.
Ontario Teachers and KKR have also agreed to buy a further 40% stake in Caruna from Canadian pension fund OMERS, in a deal that will increase their ownership to 40% each. KKR is making the investment through its core infrastructure strategy. Elo will have a 7.5% interest in Caruna.

IFM Investors and Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan Board (“Ontario Teachers”) are pleased to announce that they have entered into a definitive agreement with Brookfield Infrastructure (NYSE: BIP; TSX: BIP.UN) to jointly acquire a 100% interest in the Canadian district energy operations owned by Enwave Energy Corporation (“Enwave”) for C$2.8 billion on an enterprise value basis.
