Malaria, dengue, gastroenteritis and leptospirosis, the prominent illnesses associated with the rainy season, have all witnessed a noticeable upswing in reported cases in July’s first two weeks. According to the data released on Tuesday, leptospirosis has eme rged as a significant health concern, with 104 reported cases in the first two weeks of July, surpassing the total of 97 cases recorded for the entire month of June.
