House Bill 1210 asks for $20 million towards the $28.5 million project. South Dakota State University could receive $20 million from the state s general fund for a new lab if House Bill 1210 can successfully pass through the Legislature. However, that capital could be hard to get, as the project isn t included in Gov. Kristi Noem s proposed budget.
