Cody Sorenson and Dakota Pearle went into the Bob Marshall Wilderness on a September elk hunt. The trip went south almost immediately. They got a late start and it was pouring rain. Still, they packed up Sorenson’s blind Spotted Leopard Appaloosa horse Outlaw and headed to Basin in the heart of the Bob Marshall.

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. For the first time in fifteen years, the University of Charleston women’s basketball team is bound for the NCAA Division II Elite Elight. The Golden Eagles (19-2) defeated Tiffin, 82-52 Tuesday in the Atlantic Regional title game in Columbus, Ohio.

Charleston outscored Tiffin 30-7 in the second quarter, en route to a 41-18 halftime lead. The Golden Eagles limited Tiffin to just 15-of-50 shooting from the floor and 3-of-16 from three-point range.
