Holton, William F. Age 80 of Apple Valley, passed away unexpectedly on December 25th. He was born July 23, 1942 in Superior Wisconsin. Preceded in death by parents Frank and Glorianna Holton; he is survived by his beloved wife Kathleen and daughters Karen Throndset (Chad) and Mary Holton-Bouley (Steve); grandchildren Ryan Schuerkamp, Leah Schuerkamp & Nolan Throndset; as well as many other relatives and friends. Bill was civic-minded. He was a member of the Apple Valley Fire Department. He was co-founder of the ALF Ambulance Service and served as chairman of the board for five years. He was on the Apple Valley City Council for many years and also served as Mayor of Apple Valley. He is a board member of the Dakota Electric Association. Bill served in the military. He was a member of the 148th Fighter Squadron and during that time was Airman of the Year. Bill was a friendly and generous person.
