With millions of dollars in COVID-19 relief funds available to Sioux Falls, city councilors are discussing a laundry list of projects that could be helped with the money.
There s nearly $11 million in COVID-19 relief funds from the CARES Act still remaining and over $25 million available from the American Rescue Plan Act, with another $15 million between the city s available fund balance and capital surplus funds.
Some of that money will likely go to a series of projects proposed by Mayor Paul TenHaken s administration, which include repairs to the Washington Pavilion roof, a southeastern report to work station for the Sioux Falls Police Department and an expansion of trails from Lien Park to Great Bear.
