Delaware County has new dairy royalty.
The Delaware County Dairy Promoters didn’t hold a Dairy Banquet this past weekend like they normally would have, but they crowned new royalty during a virtual coronation live on Facebook Saturday night.
Congratulations to this year’s winners… Dairy Princess Courtney Goedken, Little Miss Squirt Kadee Gaul and Alternate Little Miss Squirts Natalie Ries and Leighton Gudenkauf.
The Dairy Promoters say they can’t wait to be back celebrating in-person with everyone next year.
There will be no Delaware County Dairy Banquet this year.
The Delaware County Dairy Promoters announced on Facebook this week that they have decided to cancel this year’s Dairy Banquet, which is usually held the first Saturday night in March. They say with current gathering restrictions in place – and not knowing what those restrictions will look like in March – they have decided this is the best option.
But the Delaware County Dairy Promoters are currently working out the details so they can virtually honor their outgoing dairy royalty, crown new incoming royalty and present all the awards they would typically give during their annual banquet.
