ザ・ドリフターズの高木ブーが１４日、インスタグラムを更新し、この日８１歳で死去した歌手で俳優のジェリー藤尾さんを悼んだ。ジェリーさんは高木の娘・かおるさんの名付け親でもあったという。 高木は「ドリフターズに入る前に一緒にバンドを組んでいたジェリー藤尾さんが亡くなられた。最後にお会いしたのはこの写真の２０１９年９月」と記し、ドリフ参加前に所属していたジャズバンド「パップ・コーンズ」時代の写真を自ら持ち、優しくほほ笑むジェリーさんと並んだ２ショットを投稿した。
