Line Of Duty s Martin Compston has discussed accent detectives watching out for his Scottish twang and feeling miserable over his lockdown weight gain.
The Scottish actor, 36, appeared on Monday s Lorraine where he spoke about the upcoming sixth series of Line Of Duty, due to start on March 21, and his struggle to fit into his character Steve Arnott s signature waistcoats.
The Greenock-born star, who feigns an English accent as the AC-12 DS Arnott, said accent detectives are now on the lookout for any slip-ups where they can hear his Scottish twang.
