Line Of Duty's Martin Compston has discussed 'accent detectives' watching out for his Scottish twang and 'feeling miserable' over his lockdown weight gain.
The Scottish actor, 36, appeared on Monday's Lorraine where he spoke about the upcoming sixth series of Line Of Duty, due to start on March 21, and his struggle to fit into his character Steve Arnott's signature waistcoats.
The Greenock-born star, who feigns an English accent as the AC-12 DS Arnott, said 'accent detectives' are now on the lookout for any slip-ups where they can hear his Scottish twang.
