The DOH Davao COVID-19 Regional Daily Case Bulletin No. 337 shows that 97 new cases were recorded on Saturday, bringing the total number of cases in the region to 19,004, with 2,568 active cases.
Among these cases, 56 were from Davao City, 32 from Davao del Norte, five from Davao de Oro and four from Davao Oriental.
The DOH also reported four new deaths due to COVID-19 bringing the total number of deaths to 778.
In Davao City, the COVID-19 deaths here reached the 600 mark as two new fatalities were recorded on Saturday. Davao City has a total of 600 COVID-19 deaths, the highest in the region.

DAVAO CITY – The number of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) cases in Davao region surpassed the 13,000 mark on Wednesday.
The DOH Davao Center for Health Development reported 163 new cases of COVID-19 in the region bringing the total number of recorded cases to 13,144. Davao region has a total of 1,630 active cases.
Based on the DOH Davao COVID-19 Regional Daily Case Bulletin, the new cases included 89 from Davao City, 44 from Davao del Sur, 25 from Davao del Norte, three from Davao Occidental, and two from Davao de Oro.
Davao City recorded the highest number of COVID-19 cases in the region with a total of 9,194 cases with 1,017 active cases. The city has also recorded 432 deaths and 7,745 recoveries.
DAVAO CITY – Before 2020 could end, the Department of Health (DOH) Davao Center for Health Development (DCHD) reported 215 new case of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in the region, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 12,592.
