MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - The woman accused of shooting into a Memphis day care last week was in court Monday.
Daija Williams, who also goes by Daija Taylor, is facing two counts of attempted first-degree murder and 63 counts of reckless endangerment.
Police say surveillance video caught Williams firing a gun into La Petite Academy last week.
According to police, Williams picked up her child and argued with employees about payments before retrieving the gun and shooting through the door.

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - After two days of searching, Memphis police arrested the woman accused of shooting into a Raleigh day care.
According to the police affidavit, 26-year-old Daija Williams came dangerously close to hitting two employees inside.
Williams is accused of shooting into La Petite Academy on New Allen Road Tuesday. She was taken into custody Thursday.

MEMPHIS, Tennessee After getting into an argument with daycare workers, a Memphis mom shot the front door of a Raleigh daycare Tuesday, Memphis Police say.
According to Memphis Police, Daija Taylor (aka Daija Williams) is the parent who fired a shot into the La Petite Academy located at 4125 New Allen. She then took off in a black Nissan south on Old Allen towards Hawkins Mill. No one was hurt.

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - It’s shocking. A woman shoots into the front door of a Raleigh day care with more than 60 children inside after an argument with an employee. I talked with a parent who is horrified and we have the video that shows the actual shooting.
“I’m extremely angry. I’m ready to unenroll my child, to pull him out as of today he will not be coming back more than likely,” said a parent.
