Horton pleads not guilty striking and killing girl in Lithopolis

LANCASTER  A man accused of fatally striking a girl and injuring a woman with a vehicle in Lithopolis has pleaded not guilty to all charges. Kim P. Horton, 65, of Canal Winchester, appeared virtually for a brief arraignment hearing through Fairfield County Common Pleas Court Wednesday morning. His bond is set at $250,000.  Horton was indicted July 29 on two counts of aggravated vehicular homicide, a second-degree felony, and third-degree felony; one count each of aggravated vehicular assault, a third-degree felony; vehicular assault, a fourth-degree felony; and one count of operating a vehicle under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol, a first-degree misdemeanor.
