To ensure a “successful production” as the Schuylkill gets dredged, the Dad Vail Regatta will be held at Cooper River Park in Pennsauken, N.J. for 2023.
The prestigious Dad Vail Regatta rowing competition will be staged on the Cooper River in New Jersey when it returns for its 84th year in 2023. The event is traditionally held on the Schuylkill River in Philadelphia, but the dredging of the National Course will prevent the regatta from being held there next year. The collegiate competition is scheduled to take place on Friday, May 12 and Saturday, May 13 at Cooper River Park in Pennsauken.
