Dacono City Councilman Danny Long will resign April 30 due to “health issues,” according to an email obtained by the Times-Call through an open records request.

Incumbent Doris Crespo was leading the 5-person race to fill two Dacono City Council seats as of shortly after 8 p.m., according to Weld County’s unofficial election results.
As of 8:30 p.m. Tuesday night, it was too close to call the results of Dacono Ballot Issue 2D, which asked voters if the city should be included in the High Plains Library District.
