The family of “Don Pablo,” the well-known Bridgeport radio personality who died last week at the age of 86, has started a fund to benefit the Connecticut Latino community in his honor.
Pablo de Jesús Colón Jr., who made his mark with Radio Cumbre Broadcasting, died last Thursday, according to his family.
Remembered for his baritone voice and commitment to causes affecting the city’s Latino community, de Jesús Colón used his show as a platform for the community to speak directly with their elected officials.
