The Czech National Heritage Institute which administers around 1,000 cultural monuments in the Czech Republic, is preparing to launch a series of podcasts focussing on the work of its experts in maintaining the castles, chateaus and other cultural sites under its administration.
The podcasts, due to be launched on April 6, will provide an in-depth look into the work of archaeologists, conservationists, documentarists and others. The institute has also posted online tours of its most significant sites.
The tourist season at Czech castles and chateaus, which traditionally starts on April 1, has had to be postponed indefinitely, due to the Covid pandemic.
