Teachers at Gompers Preparatory Academy, a public charter school in the Chollas View neighborhood of San Diego, voted 25-to-17 to break away from the SDEA after filing a petition.
The latest vote to decertify Gompers’ teachers union comes after years of back and forth. The issues animating it are strikingly similar to past efforts.
