Jordan Kelly, 26, was attempting to cross the notoriously dangerous South Passage Bar with friend Jack McDonald, 28, when he went missing off Stradbroke Island in Queensland.
The 26-year-old surf skier missing in ‘hazardous’ conditions in Moreton Bay since Saturday has been identified as members of his family fly from New Zealand to join the search operation.
Water Police are currently coordinating a sea and air search for two missing surf skiers in the Moreton Bay area. The pair left Dunwich around 10.30am.
