Nearly 100 golfers participated in the 32nd Annual Chick Schaffner Memorial Charity Golf Classic on Monday. As usual, it was a tremendous event. The tournament has raised nearly $300,000 for its signature beneficiaries Stein Hospice and the American Heart Association. Much thanks to our sponsors, especially Materion.
My father was Vice President and Plant Manager for the Elmore facility from 1948 to his retirement and untimely passing in 1971.
Billy Market just turned 60!!! Happy Birthday!!! Billy is the principal owner of the Miller Boat Lines. He was “once upon a time” a very good baseball player at Port Clinton High School.
