Cyclone Michaung Live Tracking Today News: As the Cyclone Michaung made landfall in Andhra Pradesh between Nellore and Kavali on Tuesday, incessant rains lashed Tamil Nadu’s Chennai taking the death toll in rain-related incidents to 17 .
Cyclone Michaung News Live: The cyclonic storm Michaung is nearly moving northwards close to coast and some parts of the wall cloud region lies over land. The system is likely to move nearly northwards parallel and close to south Andhra Pradesh coast and cross south Andhra Pradesh coast between Nellore and Machilipatnam, close to Bapatla during on Tuesday noon as a Severe Cyclonic Storm with a maximum sustained wind speed of 90-100 kmph gusting to 110 kmph. Heavy to very heavy rains, accompanied by storng winds, have already lashed many parts on Andhra Pradesh, including Nellore, Prakasam and Bapatla districts. The Andhra Pradesh government has appointed several senior bureaucrats as special officers for the cyclone affected districts. Cyclone Michaung: IndiGo said the affected passengers will be offered a waiver on cancellation and rescheduling of flights. Air India also waived rescheduling charges for yesterday and today s flights.
As per the official notification, all educational institutions including schools and colleges, will remain closed on December 5 and the exams scheduled have also been postponed.
