New Galleries: Platinum Unicron and Encore Unicron of Light
Sunday, April 4th, 2021 1:32am CDT While photographing the HasLab crowdfunded War for Cybertron Trilogy UNICRON, I decided it was best to also knock out galleries for Platinum Unicron with Kranix as well as Encore Unicron of Light with Bug. I figured when else was I going to transform all of these Unicrons again in the near future? Platinum Unicron is the newest release of the G1 styled Armada Unicron with a lighter shade of blue for the planet mode parts and includes Kranix which is essentially the same deco as the version which came with the 2011 Amazon exclusive Unicron. The Encore Unicron of Light figure is meant to be an homage of the Lucky Draw release, of which we had the pleasure of photographing WAY back in 2010 (courtesy of fellow Seibertronian JRFitzpatrick7). Ghostbusters Kenner Classics Ecto-1 Vehicle and More Are Available to Pre-Order Now
Hasbro launched a wave of exclusives online here at Walmart s Collector Shop today, March 15th at 10am PST/ 1pm EST. The lineup includes new figures in the Star Wars: The Vintage Collection lineup and the Transformers: War for Cybertron Trilogy and Beast Wars lineups. Hasbro also released an Ecto-1 vehicle, Fearsome Flush figure, and Bug-Eye figure with designs inspired by classic 80s Kenner toys from The Real Ghostbusters animated series.
The Ghostbusters Kenner Classics Ecto-1 toy features moving wheels, an opening tailgate, a roof-mounted swivel blaster seat, a deployable ghost claw, and a ghost figure. It s a Walmart exclusive that you ll be able to pre-order at launch time right here for $49.99. Odds are this is going to sell out quickly, so be prepared. If that happens, you could cross your fingers for a restock or head on over to eBay.

Last week, Walmart launched a timer that counts down to the debut of a wave of Hasbro exclusives in the Star Wars: The Vintage Collection, The Real Ghostbusters, and the Transformers: War for Cybertron Trilogy and Beast Wars lines. That timer hits zero today, March 15th, at 10am PST / 1pm EST. Be ready and waiting here at Walmart s Collector Shop just before that time. Here s a taste of what to expect.
Back in January, Hasbro launched a wave of figures in the Star Wars Black Series and Vintage Collection lines that celebrated the 50th anniversary of Lucasfilm. They also revealed that three Vintage Collection exclusives would hit Walmart at some point in 2021 - Paploo, Princess Leia (Endor), and an AT-ST driver. Considering that Walmart used Paploo and the AT-ST driver in their countdown timer, it s a pretty safe bet that these three figures are dropping on March 15th (
