We are generally aware of the benefits of the internet; however, its anonymous nature allows miscreants to indulge in various cyber crimes. The International Telecommunications Union estimates that almost 40% of the world’s population and over 76% of people in developed countries are now internet users. Cyber space, however, remains a relatively new terrain in terms of the questions it raises about human rights and responsibilities. What is cyber space?
