WICHITA FALLS, Texas (TNN) - Local crime tracking just got a lot easier in Wichita Falls.
The Wichita Falls Police Department shared information concerning a local internet resource tool. Not limited to the Wichita Falls area, crimemapping.com has the ability to set up text alerts from the website.
WF Police said, “Do you want to know what is happening in your neighborhood? Would you like to be able to filter that activity by date, date range, and type of activity?”

WICHITA FALLS, Texas (TNN) - Christopher Foster was arrested on Tuesday for assault causing bodily injury.
The crime happened on 3153 Seymour Highway at the Circle Inn where Wichita Falls police were dispatched to a disturbance call.
WF Police said Foster admitted to punching the victim in the face with a closed fist following a dispute about money.
Foster is still being held in the Wichita County Jail where his bond is set at $1,500.
