CLEVELAND President Joe Biden spoke to a crowd at Cuyahoga Community College on Thursday afternoon.
Before his political allies in Ohio, like Mayor Nan Whaley and Rep. Tim Ryan, Biden discussed his economic plan for the nation. First and foremost, he said, the nation must tame the COVID-19 pandemic.
That s why, he said, in the early days of his administration he prioritized production of COVID-19 vaccines and getting those vaccines into the arms of all Americans. With that accomplished, he could turn his attention to restarting the economy.

A signature Northeast Ohio cultural event that went virtual last year will be back in person in 2021 at a new venue.
Cuyahoga Community College on Friday, May 14, announced that the Tri-C JazzFest Cleveland will return on Sept. 11 and 12 and will take place at Cain Park in Cleveland Heights. The event typically is held at Playhouse Square in the summer.
The 2020 edition of JazzFest took place online due to COVID-19 restrictions.
This year s two-day outdoor festival will feature a variety of national acts performing under the covered Evans Amphitheater, Tri-C said in a news release.
