Jun. 10—AKRON — From a parade to a run/walk and from beauty pageants to a cute baby contest, the Fulton County town of Akron is gearing up for a fun July 4 celebration. Registrations are now being accepted for the Firecracker 5K Run/Walk and the Sparkler 1-Mile Fun Run.
