Rachel Proctor officially sworn in as mayor of DeSoto
Proctor called on DeSoto residents to join her in improving the city.

DeSoto’s mayoral transition of power was completed on Thursday evening as Rachel Proctor was officially sworn in and began her term.
“I want to extend a heartfelt thanks to the voters of DeSoto for entrusting me to lock arms with you all and lead our great city into the future,” Proctor said after being sworn in as the 22nd mayor of the city.
