UNION GROVE â Union Grove is joining other Wisconsin cities in getting out of the business of regulating who can sell soda pop.
A state law dating back to the Prohibition era allowed local government to license businesses that sell soft drinks, whether by the bottle or by the gallon. It had functioned similarly to a liquor license, where itâs illegal for businesses to sell booze (or, in this case, Coke or Pepsi or Sprite) without government approval.

ATLANTA (AP) â Khris Middleton scored 20 of his playoff career high-tying 38 points in the fourth quarter, leading the Milwaukee Bucks to a 113-102 victory over the Atlanta Hawks on Sunday night for a 2-1 lead in the Eastern Conference finals.
Trae Young scored 35 points for Atlanta but was slowed in the final period after injuring his right ankle after stepping on an officialâs foot late in the third.

DULUTH, Ga. (AP) â Monday qualifier Dicky Pride won the Mitsubishi Electric Classic on Sunday for his first PGA Tour Champions title, closing with a 5-under 67 for a three-stroke victory.
Making his 11th senior start, the 51-year-old Pride had six birdies in an 11-hole stretch before dropping a stroke on the par-4 15th. He parred the final three.
