A transportation alert went out around 11:30 a.m. for a local road closure due to a crash.
It was reported that Rt. 38 was closed in both directions due to a crash. The closure was between Fintches Corner and Curtis Co-Op roads in Sterling.
The closure was said to be possible for up to two hours. Motorists are encouraged to avoid the area for the time being.
