There was a question about this at the public hearing and in the and in the previous draft of the learning continuity plan and we had highlighted that we were pending clarification from the c. D. E. About the actions and expenditures. So i just wanted to take a moment to clarify, to explain that clarification, and the response that we have received. So we wanted to confirm that the actions and the expenditures that are at the bottom of each major section of the plan, we wanted to make sure that we were approaching that process correctly. And so the clarification that we received is that we should be considering both learning loss mitigation funds and lcff funds in our plan. But we do not need to include all of both of those sources. It is up to our discretion, the extent to which we include those funds. But thos

You know, when i decided to run for supervisor, i wanted to be a good supervisor for the people of the district i represent, where i grew up in. And so that entailed making sure i knew how to do policy and legislation and i understand how the process worked and the city worked. And the good news id been on commissions and other places. So i understood it. But i actually went back to school late in life, before i ran, to get my masters in public administration. And i ended up graduating from u. S. F. With honors, because i was committed to making sure that i was the best policymaker for the people that i represented. And im not suggesting that you do that. Its just that whatever role you want to play, you set your sights on that role and you make sure that youre prepared to take it on and all that it entails. There is a lot of really good data. This gives an idea. This is how much experience they had previous with distance ed. You can see the majority had at least one class they had taken remotely. This question which is the following challenges faced right now and this is in response generally to how students are reacting to the shelterinplace and how it is impacting their education. The biggest thing right now is for our students they were not able to concentrate on school. We have a large number of parttime students in our college. You can see it drove down to some of the details. Fortunately, a majority of students but slim majority are comfortable using canvas. 40 are not that comfortable.
