JACKSON, MI Jackson College is hosting a virtual panel to discuss issues of race and racism currently in the spotlight.
The virtual discussion, “Race in America: Current Obstacles Future Opportunities” is part of Jackson College’s Lux et Veritas Symposium series, officials said. The online event is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 20.
The audience will hear from a panel of educators and students about current issues regarding race relationships, systemic racism, strategies for change and hope for the future, officials said.
