The new agreement significantly expands the geographical scope to include the north, where MSB is headquartered, and make Prudential the lender’s only partner. They have been collaborating since 2013 and built a highly successful bancassurance partnership which delivered a 34 per cent compounded annual growth rate in annual premium equivalent between 2014 and 2020.

VNA/VNS Photo Sỹ Tuyên HCM CITY Authorities in Hớn Quản District in the southern province of Bình Phước are warning buyers to be careful about land transactions, saying the proposed airport in the district, which has not been approved, has caused a “price bubble”. In the past few days, hundreds of people have been flocking to An Khương and Tân Lợi communes in Hớn Quản District, causing land prices to surge after hearing news about the proposed dual-purpose airport.

Photo thethaovanhoa.vn HÀ NỘI   The United Nations Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO) and the World Health Organisation (WHO) in Việt Nam have issued a press release urging the Vietnamese Government and the public to keep vigilance over H5N8 human infection upon the detection of seven farm workers infected with the influenza A (H5N8) in a chicken farm in Russia, according to the Ministry of Health. This is the first report of H5N8 poultry-to-human infection despite the virus having been circulating in poultry and wild birds since 2016. All seven human cases were asymptomatic.

VNA/VNS Photo HCM CITY  Small group travel, wellness travel and shorter booking timeframes are expected to set the trends for 2021, according to the Vietnam Tourism Trends 2021 report. The report conducted by Outbox Consulting, an independent research and consulting firm, showed that travellers will be able to plan socially distanced vacations in sparsely populated areas and be safe from COVID-19 infections. A regular tour in 2019 could accommodate 20 – 30 people, but this year the size will shrink to control the spread of the COVID-19 outbreaks.
