Them harder. I think we would welcome legislation to reform that area. But if we come in a blunt instrument, suddenly recreating the fda authorities or mandating things on the fda or looking for the department of health and Human Services to do things that theyre not equipped to do and then, of course, we dont fund them to do it, i think we have to be cautious about some of the legislation that may be proposed. More than anything we want government to be there to work collaboratively but we still have to recognize the safety and efficacy that American People and most people here would certainly think is necessary for a new product. We want those products out as quickly as possible. I remember the days when we had the first evidence of the aids epidemic and the people that brought home the reform and fda to get some of these therapies out quickly were the act up groups of the gay community. They studied the law of fda and argued you dont need to take so long. You dont have to wait till

And markets are always looking for longterm signals. We just gave a very bill longterm signals that i believe in what i am hearing is opening the door to investments in the United States and that is a very good thing but people should also keep in mind and be converted by the fact that our climate decisions have been referred three times by the supreme court. There is no where else did go. They said move forward and that is what we are doing and so i think it is the strong a signal as we can possibly have, that the u. S. Is open to looking at how to devise a low carb and economy and get it moving and running in a way that will entice investment. That is good for everybody. Representatives of disease groups know more about the diseases than anybody else. They have worked so hard to try to understand whats at stake. Pressing the government to be as flexible as possible. I think its important for the infrastructure for the 21st century cures. I want to say i would be a little cautious about thinking we can solve big problems with legislation with all the unforeseen consequences that can sit inn at a panel here ten years from now and bemoan. I guess thats not a question, but comments. I thank the witnesses and particularly, my good friend and constituent mike milken for all that he has done. Thank you, mr.
