Sandra “Sandy” Moyle, age 69, of Camp Hill, passed away peacefully after a long battle with cancer on Christmas Day, Dec. 25, 2020 with her loving husband, who took care of her up to the end, by her side.
Her husband, Edward, said the he received much support from family, neighbors, friends and employees from Cumberland County.
Sandy and Edward were married on March 8, 1990 in Hawaii. Sandy was born on Sept. 11, 1951 in Lewistown. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Belella, father, Merico Belella, and a stepson, Scott Moyle who died in February 2000 at the age of 29.
Sandy had a stepdaughter, Pamela Hassinger, and two stepgrandchildren, Tori Hassinger and Chandler Hassinger of Lewistown. She was married to Edward Moyle for 30 years, often calling him her darling husband and knight in shining armor. He was her stalwart supporter through life. She often said that he gave her the positive support that made her the caring woman she was. She loved her hus

In a unanimous vote, the Cumberland County Commission approved a resolution acknowledging their support of County Mayor Allen Foster for his leadership during the COVID-19 crisis. At the December meeting of the County Commission, commissioners approved the resolution that praised Foster for his policies and actions, and affirmed County Mayor Foster’s steadfast management and guidance through this ongoing crisis. Foster said, “I’ll be the first to admit that I’m not good at accepting this kind of appreciation, but I do value the sentiment.”
