The programme is part of the fair’s wider canopy of initiatives under the Arts and Culture Programme to empower and highlight the thriving arts scene in the nation.

From now until February 21, you can see beautiful murals painted by a number of two talented artists all across Causeway Bay. The two award-winning works and 20 other selected pieces were part of the Hysan Mural Design Competition 2020 which is part of their Hysan Inclusive Art and Culture Programme. The murals are themed around wellness, sustainability, art and culture as well as lifestyle.
The selected pieces showcase the artists creative perspective and imagination of the city. Gen T honouree Jacqueline Chak of architecture and interior design firm, Editecture is one of the two selected showcase winners. Her creation,
Island Gardenia, is an urban oasis that combines traditional naval architecture and contemporary materials of nature and the city. With that, she made use of more than 2000 recycled plastic bottles while the islands in the artwork are symbolic of reincarnated life that s setting off towards a sustainable future. The mural is located in Lee Garden Two.
