Blaževič/LRT There is a popular saying in Poland that God created theatre for those for whom the church does not suffice. Theatre and religion are two things that Lithuania and Poland have in common. TR Warszawa theatre programme director, playwright Roman Pawłowski discusses these links with theatre critic, head of Jaunimo Teatras in Vilnius Audronis Liuga. Culture Nerve Podcast Contemporary dance still a niche thing

Culture Nerve Podcast. Contemporary dance ‘still a niche thing’ 2 International Dance Day in Vilnius. / E. Blaževič/LRT Contemporary dance is a universal language that requires no translation although that does not mean that dancers all over the world hold their bodies in the same way.  LRT podcast Culture Nerve presents Jerusalem-based choreographer, CEO of the Machol Shalemmm Dance House Ruby Edelman in conversation with art critic and producer, co-founder of Seiko dance company Goda Giedraitytė. Ruby Edelman: When I think about what we do, sometimes I lose proportion because I m so much into it. But it is still a niche thing. When I look to those people that I m supporting in my studio, I take time to look on it in a perspective of how ‘normal’ people will look at it, so I see that it is still a very, very uncommon, very unorthodox way of expecting what to see on stage.
