DIPR s Cultural Wing Jammu organises awareness webinar for specially-abled persons – India Education | Latest Education News | Global Educational News

  JAMMU: A webinar for awareness on the topic “Issues faced by persons with Disabilities (specially-abled) during COVID19″was organised by the Department of Information, Cultural Wing in collaboration with JIGER NGO Jammu. The webinar was facilitated by Humanity Welfare Organisation helpline Bijbehara. A large number of persons with disabilities joined the awareness programme and expressed their views, thoughts and experiences. Padamshree, Jawed Ahmed Tak was the chief guest, while as Joint Director, Information Department, Namrita Dogra was the guest of honour on the occasion. Joint Director Namrita Dogra advised the participants to take vaccination to fight Covid-19 and prevent its further spread. She stressed on the importance of covid appropriate behavior including Wearing appropriate Masks, maintaining Hand hygiene, maintaining social distance and avoiding crowded places.

Indian Embassy in Baku introduces new Sanskrit learning App, Little Guru - AZERTAC

Baku, May 8, AZERTAC The Indian Embassy in Baku in collaboration with the Azerbaijan University of Languages has organized an online interaction to introduce a new Sanskrit learning app, Little Guru. The online event was attended by the Vice Rector of the Azerbaijan University of Languages, Dr. Jala Garibova and other faculty members of the University. Many aspiring Sanskrit learners and academicians participated in the event. The Little Guru which is the world’s first gamified app for learning Sanskrit, has been developed by the Indian Council of Cultural Relation (ICCR) of Indian collaboration with GamappSportswizz Technologies and was officially launched globally on April 09, 2021 by the ICCR. Sanskrit is one of the oldest languages in the world. Its grammatical structure is highly evolved and is seen by as the most perfectly programmable computer language.

Essay Writing, Debate competition, online classes held on 400th birth Anniversary of Guru Tegh Bhadur Ji in Kupwara

Jun 4, 2021 On the occasion, online essay writing and debate competitions were organized by the Cultural Education Wing in which a large number of students from different schools of the district participated. Similarly, online classes were also organized in various Higher Secondary schools of the district in which teachings and sacrifices of Guru TeghBahadur Ji were highlighted. Meanwhile, online programmes shall continue to be held in the district on the eve of the fortnight programme of Guru TeghBahadur Ji.  

DIPR hosts COVID-19 awareness camp at Katra, Panthal

Block Divisional Officer Panthal Punica Marwaha was the chief guest on the occasion. During the programme a variety of Cultural activities were presented by the artist of the Cultural unit of Joint Director of Information and Public Relation Jammu, which were highly appreciated by the gathering. BDO Katra and Panthal thanked the artists of the Information Department for conducting more such awareness programmes and appealed to the people to follow the SOPs guidelines to avoid Covid infection.
