Improper vetting and naivety, says an investigative journalist, has resulted in a group of American soldiers being subjected to the teachings of an antisemitic, hardline Islamist.

TUCSON, Ariz. (KOLD News 13) -As the Derek Chauvin trial continues for the death of George Floyd last summer, the Tucson Police Department is expanding their training for recruits. It is the second year recruits are getting their additional cultural awareness training.
“This came about with what happened nationwide. We had a lot of community meetings and really realized that we needed to get perspective from the community, learn about their culture from their view,” said Diana Duffy, Captain of the training center, TPD.
