Heavy to very heavy rains are expected over Tamil Nadu, including the capital city Chennai and South Coastal Andhra Pradesh. Moderate showers are likely over southern parts of Rayalaseema, covering Tirupati, Chittoor and Cuddapah with isolated heavy rains at few places.
South Coastal Tamil Nadu may not see intense rains as compared to the central and the northern regions. Rains will be seen for the next three days, peaking tomorrow, reducing a little thereafter day after tomorrow and seeing a significant drop furthermore.
Houses left unconstructed, sand left uncleared from there fields and inadequate compensation are only some of the numerous complaints the residents of the affected villages have with the Andhra Pradesh government.
