This is the man they arrested. 30yearold martin martinez. Hes behind bars in Santa Clara County jail tonight accused of murder. Hes suspected of killing five people inside this modesto home. Police discovered their bodies yesterday after receiving a request to check on the family. We have identified that all of the victims inside are females. All of them are related. And the children are from ages 6 months to 6 years. Reporter police say martinez knew at least two of the victims. We have also determined there is a past relationship between martin and one of the victims inside, and one of the children is his. Reporter but investigators say theyre still trying to determine the motive for the massacre. Last night martinez was named as a person of interest. Police launched a statewide search for him and
