Thanks to Angela Kelleher's efforts, along with Paws and Claws Puerto Vallarta and Cuale Clinic, volunteers collaborated on a program at Penitenciario Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo to sterilize some stray cats that inmates have adopted. It was a team effort and it shows what combined efforts can contribute to the community.
Cuale Clinic changed the way it operates last spring, going from appointments open to the public, to only providing sterilization for rescues and street animals. By sterilizing homeless animals, the clinic curbs the number of stray dogs and cats roaming the streets.
