El Sistema Nacional de Emergencias (Sinae) publicó su informe diario acerca de la situación actual de la pandemia por coronavirus que atraviesa el país en este momento. De acuerdo con los datos que suministró el Ministerio de Salud Pública (MSP), este jueves se llevaron a cabo 8.898 análisis y se detectaron 306 nuevos casos de Coronavirus COVID-19.
El porcentaje de pruebas positivas de esta jornada se ubicó en el 3.4% del total de los test que se realizaron. Desde el pasado 10 de julio el país se mantiene por debajo del 5% de positividad, rango que la OMS estimó necesario para mantener la pandemia «bajo control».
