The president of CSU 52 said Monday afternoon that members employed by the City of Edmonton voted over the weekend to accept the city's four-year offer.
Ninety-one per cent of voting members of the Civic Service Union (CSU 52), which represents many City of Edmonton workers, has voted in favour of strike action.
CSU 52 is trying to negotiate a three-year contract after five years of no raises but said the City of Edmonton's negotiating team isn't presenting a fair deal for employees.
