Jonny Williams is a Welsh midfielder who played for Crystal Palace from 2011 through to 2019. He features often in new Palace series, When Eagles Dare. Find out more about him below!
The Welshman was a product of the Crystal Palace Academy, with his development at the club beginning aged eight. He made his debut at the start of the 2011/12 season, though his breakthrough came in 2012/13.
After recovering from an injury that kept him out for more than half his debut season, Williams went on to make 35 appearances in the 12/13 campaign.

Crystal Palace Under-23s manager Shaun Derry was proud of his young side as they triumphed on penalties over Sunderland in the Premier League 2 Division 2 play-off final.
Abubakarr Jah smiles fondly as he remembers his two sons as youngsters. The doting dad would push little Ahmed and Abubakkar, known as Junior, on swings in their local park in East London, the boys squealing in delight.
As a treat, Mr Jah and wife Hawa Deen would take the boys and their two sisters to Chessington World of Adventures to ride the roller coasters, see the exotic animals and enjoy ice cream.
‘Ahmed and Junior were both very friendly,’ says Mr Jah, 53. ‘They had different dreams.’
On the afternoon of Monday, April 26, 18-year-old Junior was murdered outside the Jahs’ modest family home
U18 manager McCarthy praised the midfielder, saying: “Jes is an example for the rest of the players because he’s had to work really hard to improve areas of his development and deal with disappointments of not being in the team.
“He’s knuckled down and seen the fruits of his labour and I think that’s an example to all the young players we have here. Now, Jes has to maintain that and keep focused.”
Rak-Sakyi is the fifth Under-18s player to sign a professional contract with the club this season, following David Omilabu, Tayo Adaramola, Fionn Mooney and Jadan Raymond.
