Friday, Jake Kulak & The LowDown bring their blend of guitar-driven blues and blues-rock to a free Summer Concert at the Hilton Mystic, hosted by The Irons Restaurant & Bar. Join them on the patio, and bring your own chairs and blankets.
Kulak has been immersed in the blues from Connecticut to Memphis and beyond. At age 13, he made the first of many trips to Memphis where he played in clubs on Beale Street as part of the International Blue Challenge Youth Showcase, and to Clarksdale, Mississippi, where he attended the Pinetop Perkins Masterclass in Guitar. The blues calendar is beginning to fill, and more and more artists are coming out of hiding with outdoor concerts.
While we slowly approach old times, things will remain different, but this year’s festival season, if it goes off as planned promises a great summertime season.
