For two decades ndot has had a Warning System in place when winds are too dangerous for drivers. But this year, theyve enhanced the safety protocol by adding additional signs that include flashing lights to warn drivers there used to be nine of these kind of warning signs. But now there are 34. Ndot hopes this will make it easier for drivers to recognize the Wind Restrictions and plan their travels accordingly.
