Investigating gunshots this morning after they found more than a dozen shell casings. It happened around 7 15 last night in the 1500 block of woodmayr drive. Police say no one was hurt, but bullets hit 2 houses. A waterloo woman is back behind bars this morning. She faces charges for setting a house on fire and stabbing a person inside. The Fayette County Sheriffs Office arrested 20yearold ashley welch on tuesday for violating pretrial supervision. Police say she started a fire at 1006 home park boulevard in waterloo last march. Thats where they found a stabbing victim. She is awaiting trial for firstdegree e son among other charges. Firefighters in Jo Daviess County are investigating a house fire that destroyed the home.
