Quote: It s not like the wonderful readers of ANN would purposefully vote for a show they thought was universally horrendous just to make somebody suffer through it for comedy, right? Only sad, weird losers would do that. No, the only explanation is that some of you indeed sense the grand potential lying beneath this show s surface, and understood that I was the only mind sharp and observant enough to catch on Yes, you are absolutely correct sir! I for one! For instance Ep2, having slightly adulterated human bodies explode by remote control using tattoo ink (??) in a terrorist plot definitely KILLED Taboo Tattoo as a work of fiction. And the MC french kissing Minami (only God-tier writers would think of having that as a character name in Japanese meaning much loved BTW) though Alma s android body to unlock his cyber power was so far beyond Ghost in the Shell, I have no words.

We learned back in December 2018 that some new science fiction anime is in our future as the
EX-ARM manga has been slotted for an adaptation. Originally set for the summer 2020 season, the series was moved to the fall season earlier this spring but that’s recently fell through as well. The series has found itself a home as a part of the Winter 2021 season with a January 10th, 2021 debut on Tokyo MX and others. Now, the official site has updated with a new promotional video that showcases the cast and gives us a taste of what’s to come.
Yu Kobayashi as Sōma
Satomi Arai as Kaori Munakata
The show has Yoshikatsu Kimura on board to direct with scripts coming through Tommy Morton. Visual Flight is handling the animation production. Kimura is known for directing the live-action adaptations of
20th Century Boys and
Ajin films.
The opening theme song “Rise Again” will be performed by Airflip, we now know that Dizzy Sunfist is on board for the ending theme song with “Diamonds Shine.”
Crunchyroll previously acquired the series and is placing it under their Crunchyroll Originals banner. It will be available for audiences in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, and CIS.

You could argue Hulu, Netflix, HiDive, etc. prevent this from being a monopoly. Also that these are genre-specific and thus Sony is controlling streaming on the whole. Personally, I disagree, but I digress.
