MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - Memphis Black Restaurant Week kicks off today to give a boost to restaurants impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The campaign this year is called “No Crumb Left Behind.”
During the campaign, BRW will host several culinary activities and virtual events including:
Free entry-level business registration and inclusion in national culinary directory on Black Restaurant Week’s website
Black-owned culinary marketplace retailing Black-owned curated food and houseware goods
Aroma Culinary Business Conference a day-long business development conference

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - A week celebrating Memphis-based, Black-owned culinary businesses will kick off Friday and this yearâs focus is strengthening these restaurants amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
The campaign is called âNo Crumb Left Behind.â
âThe No Crumb Left Behind the campaign is to ensure that we are helping as many culinary businesses stay afloat as the world recovers from the pandemic,â stated Derek Robinson, Black Restaurant Week Marketing Director. âWe are adding more activations and working with additional partners to present programming to serve our full audience of restaurants, bakeries, caterers, chefs, and food trucks.â
Black Restaurant Week comes to the Pacific Northwest

KENT, Wash. With cuisines as varied as Southern, Caribbean, Ethiopian and more, restaurants of all flavors across Washington and Oregon are inviting customers to come and celebrate Black Restaurant Week for the first time in the Pacific Northwest.
Black Restaurant Week has supported more than 800 restaurants across the United States since it launched in 2016. Restaurants, catering, food trucks and other businesses are all a part of Black Restaurant Week’s focus to support and champion the Black culinary industry.
