As pressure mounts on the U.S. Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC) to allow the resumption of cruise operations, there has now been a response. The CDC says that there is a possibility of cruises being able to resume in mid-summer.
However, could this just be false hopes or a genuine hint of a full lifting of the Conditional Sailing Order that was first introduced at the end of October 2020?
Disney Cruise Line Cancels All U.S. Sailings Until July
Disney Cruise Line has extended its suspension on U.S. departures until July 2021. This impacts three cruise ships but not all hope is lost.

Hope for a Disney cruise from the U.S. this summer is getting further away as the cruise line has now extended its suspension through June 2021. U.S. departures are now not expected to restart until July at the very earliest.
This comes after several new developments between the cruise industry and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC).
